About this opportunity:

To scale our operations and meet the demands of our customers, the Ericsson US 5G Smart Factory is hiring additional Technical Trainers. As a Technical Trainer, you will help us produce some of the most sophisticated radios and basebands on the planet by training and developing operators, creating and maintaining training plans and materials, and serving as a key facilitator of functional expertise, cross-functional communication, and safety. These radios and basebands are the equipment that makes the 5G connection on your phone possible. 

 

The chosen candidate must be comfortable with both high-volume, fast-paced operations, and with training others. Trainers are assigned to work with one of the three functional areas within EFA Operations: Surface Mount Assembly (SMA), Final Assembly (FA), or Warehouse (WH).

 

What you will do:

Train, coach, and mentor operators in your assigned functional area (SMA, FA, WH) Partner with teams to create and maintain training plans and materialsDrive operator safety and compliance readinessFacilitate expertise, cross-functional communication, and safetyEvaluate learning impact using both knowledge and functional performance assessmentsMaintain comprehensive tracking of completed and required training

 

The skills you bring:

High school diplomaExcellent facilitation and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to lead, coach, and motivate othersStrong analytical problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret equipment and operational work instructions and process mapsTech savviness – able to use a full suite of office and learning technologies, including Microsoft applications and basic Learning Management System administration tasksDesire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-tech manufacturing environmentAbility to periodically work flexible shift hours when required2+ years experience with designated functional area in a manufacturing setting preferredFamiliarity with objective-based training theory and functional assessment settings preferredExperience with environmental and safety compliance, ISO competence management, and training governance requirements preferred
