Job Description:

The FAA Machinist is a critical role responsible for operating and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machinery to create precision metal components per blueprint specifications. This role ensures product quality, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and operate CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling.

Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings to determine machining specifications.

Input and execute machine commands via computer programming.

Load raw materials, conduct test runs, and supervise operations.

Adjust and fine-tune machinery for optimal performance.

Inspect final products to ensure precision and compliance with requirements.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC operator.

Expertise in operating CNC machinery and using precision measurement tools.

Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and documents.

Familiarity with basic computer programming, CAD, and CAM systems.

Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and quality focus.

Special Considerations:

Ability to lift items weighing 30 lbs. or less, with minimal repetition.

Exposure to machinery and moderate physical risks.

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
