We are hiring a Fabrication Associate to join our team in our Celina, OH Pipe Yard.  We have a robust training program for those without equipment experience.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm

Starting Rate = $21.00/hourYearly Merit Increase Based on Your PerformanceAccrued Vacation, Sick Time (40 Hours), Personal Time (24 Hours), Floating Holiday (16 Hours), Wellness Day (8 Hours)Paid Holidays (7 Days)Paid Parental Leave (4 Weeks)401K With Company MatchEmployee Purchase Program (Purchase Ferguson Items at Cost)Employee Stock Purchase Program (Purchase Discounted Ferguson Stock)Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Disability and Life insurance after 30 daysOptional Critical Illness and Accident Insurance (AFLAC)ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management.Follow all established standard operating procedures for pipe fabricationFollow proper procedures for set up and maintenance of machines in the Fab ShopAccurately measure, record, and add random pipe lengthFollow proper procedures for measuring and cutting pipe with band saw and/or torchFollow proper procedures for rolling and grooving single and double random lengthsFollow proper procedures for threading and beveling of pipe with Landis machinesMoving loose and/or bundled pipe from various locations within the pipe yardAssemble pipe orders whether in single sticks or bundles and maintain work supplies in an organized mannerObserves necessary safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, assembling, stacking and shipping of pipe for storage and transportation.Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and FEI safe operating proceduresEnsure pedestrian safety by maintaining a safe rate of speed in all areas while operating equipmentMaintain clearance of equipment to avoid impacts and damage to product or property Inspect and maintain all forklift equipment in functional conditionWork closely with supervisor and lead to resolve any task concerns that arise.Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all timesCross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as neededWork overtime as needed

Qualifications:

Possess good oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a teamDemonstrate superior math skills, ability to calculate quantities of product on handRequires proper training in the use of machines for cutting and threading pipeOperate powered industrial equipment according to OSHA Safe Operating Guidelines, Forklift Safety Training, and FEI Safety PoliciesKnowledge of safe work practices required in the pipe yard.Operation of machinery for the use of cutting and threading pipe according to OSHA regulations and FEI Safety PoliciesAbility to remain results-focused in a fast-paced customer service environment.Understanding of WMS systems (where applicable), and pipe yard operations

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
