Fabrication Operator-Weldmetal 1st Shift

+ Perform duties required to transport, mix, and process various weld materials. Ability and willingness to perform duties across multiple roles in the exothermic departments.
+ Move materials in the performance of duties using pallet jacks, lift trucks, or crane as necessary.
+ Perform daily and weekly safety audits to ensure a safe working environment
+ Immediately report faulty equipment, defective material, and unusual conditions to supervisor.
+ Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned or directed, which may require more than the normal shift hours or work week to meet company needs.
+ Properly fill out hr. x hr. and first piece inspection paperwork in timely manner.
+ High School diploma or equivalent is required.
+ 1+ years Manufacturing experience required.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills necessary, with the ability to make informed decisions.
+ Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced; multi-tasking environment and meet operational deadlines.
+ Must be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
+ Heavy lifting required (50 plus lbs). Lift truck operator experience preferred but not required.
+ Good communication skills.
+ Must be able to work overtime on short notice, and be able to maintain a flexible work schedule as demand dictates.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment is required. Willing and able to help fellow employees a must.
+ Cross training is mandatory and assigned by management as needed.
Must have good attendance record.
