Fabrication Production Manager Details:
Direct Hire position$90,000.00 to $110,000.00 /annuallySalariedAssist the VP of Operations in planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure smooth workflow and optimal resource utilization.Monitor and track production progress against established targets, identifying potential delays or issues, and recommending corrective actions. Support the management of production staff, including providing guidance, addressing performance issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.Assist in maintaining accurate production records, reports, and documentation for internal and external audits.Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure timely availability of materials and adherence to quality standards.Help implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize processes.Act as a liaison between the production floor and other departments to ensure clear communication and resolve any production-related issues.Conduct regular inspections of production equipment and facilities, and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel. Participate in regular production meetings, provide updates, and contribute to strategic planning efforts.Fabrication Production Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or assistant management role.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and production management software (e.g., ERP systems).Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologiesAbility to analyze data, generate reports, and present findings to management.
