Fabrication Speicalist B

Contract Position

$21.43-$26.43/Hour

Responsibilities:

Perform machine setup, machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, and tube bending tasks.Conduct composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly of precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.Assemble, repair, modify, and install power plants, drive trains, wire harnesses, and avionics products.Perform soldering on electronic and avionics components.Prepare test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices for various tests.Apply organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance, including chemical conversion and paint preparation.Work on moderately complex articles using established drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Qualifications:

Education:High School Diploma/GED combined with 1+ year of relevant work experience.Experience and Skills:1+ years of experience following detailed work instructions and reading/interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English.
