Wastequip has an immediate opportunity for a Fabricator Supervisor to support our Erial, NJ manufacturing operation. This is a Supervisory position, the candidate will work with plant management and production staff to meet customer and company requirements for safety, productivity, and quality.

The ideal candidate will:

Coordinates and directs manufacturing operations of the Fabrication Department to meet daily production goals;

Monitor supply levels and requisition parts and supplies as needed;

Read and interpret blueprints, instruct employees on assembly;

Have experience with production fixture  set-up and maintenance;

Supervise production fabrication crews;

Monitor and verify product quality;

Have Safety First focus, experience with maintaining a safe shop floor environment.

Familiar with TAKT and Std Cost Efficiency reporting

Qualifications:

Completion of Degree/vocational program a plus;

Bilingual preferred but not required;

Minimum 5+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment;

Minimum 2+ years of manager/supervisory experience 

Ability to read and understand blueprints;

Experience working with sheers, press brakes, small tools, CNC machining is a plus

Strong people skills and ability to organizational ability required;

Prior experience working with 5S and lean manufacturing techniques.
