Fabrication Technician
**Job Title: Fabrication/Assembly Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a motivated Fabrication Technician to join our team. The role involves fabricating materials based on provided templates, using tools such as heat guns, cutting wheels, hand tools, and power tools. You must be computer savvy. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a lunch break from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The position will eventually require traveling throughout the country once you become permanent. **Responsibilities** + Receive material and follow templates to fabricate the material into the required system components. + Perform detailed physical counts of all inventory items, including parts, pieces, and finished products. + Handwrite tags for each counted item, ensuring all information is accurate and legible. + Manually tag components with relevant information such as item description, quantity, and date. + Ensure all tags are securely attached and easily readable. + Record dates and counts accurately on tags and in inventory records. + Double-check counts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. + Pull tags from inventory items and validate the information against inventory records. + Ensure all tags are accounted for and match the physical inventory. + Understand and utilize barcode systems to assist in inventory tracking and validation. + Scan barcodes where applicable to verify inventory counts. + Organize boxes and inventory items systematically to facilitate easy counting and retrieval. + Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the audit process. + Compile and report audit findings to the Inventory Manager. + Document any discrepancies or issues encountered during the audit. **Essential Skills** + Fabrication experience + Production knowledge + Data entry skills + Inventory management skills + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools + Computer savviness **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in counting and tagging. + Strong organizational skills to manage and arrange inventory items efficiently. + Proficiency in basic math to perform accurate counts and calculations. + Good verbal and written communication skills for clear documentation and reporting. + Familiarity with barcode systems and basic computer skills. + Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes up to 50-60 lbs. **Why Work Here?** Trimark is an industry leader in the movement towards a greener grid and a cleaner future.
