The purpose of this role is to perform manual operations throughout Fabrication and Machining, including loading equipment and various other tasks.
ResponsibilitiesLoad and operate CNC and Manual Milling Machines; train to load various machines.Read and follow a tool list to assemble required tooling and set tool offsets in the machine using touch probes and/or Pre-Setter.Perform manual operations in fabrication assembly including riveting, masking, installing gaskets, sealing, mechanical assembly, and epoxy bonding.Run various fabrication equipment after the machine is set up as instructed. This equipment may include Haeger, press brakes, shears, punch presses, spot welders, metal finishing machines, and CNC Machines.Complete all process/product-related documentation and inspection as it relates to the work performed.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with PPE procedures, work rules, and regulations.Maintain orderliness of product, equipment, tools, supplies, ESD, part handling, and inventory points within Fabrication.Provide assistance and interface with all areas of Manufacturing.Document actions by completing production and quality forms.Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks or rotating through different processes/jobs as required or directed.Operate per established Company Policies and Procedures.Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.Essential SkillsCNC Milling experiencePunch press/drill press/shear operationMetal Fabrication - cutting, punching, grinding of sheet metalMachine Set Up & OperationAbility to read blueprints, calipers, height gauges, and assembly documentsAdditional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of related experience with a good knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the mechanical fieldExperience with a variety of milling and/or metal fabrication equipment, power tools, and assorted measuring/calibration devicesAbility to lift 50 pounds without assistanceOral and written communication skills for a team environmentDetail-oriented, organized, analyticalExperience with Deburr machines, Turret Punch Presses, and CNC HAAS/Okuma Machines a plusProgramming/editing CNC MachinesHigh School Diploma or EquivalentWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
This is a very clean and climate-controlled environment. We pride ourselves on our working culture, so new employees need to be able to get along well with others. The shift is 1st (5x4x9 schedule – 44 hours in week 1 and 36 hours in week 2).
