Job Title: Fabricator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling large-scale custom conveyor systems. This role requires proficiency in MIG welding, custom fabrication, and mechanical assembly of machinery. Candidates should be comfortable with tasks such as layout, mounting various pieces for assembly, adjusting machinery to scale, drilling and tapping holes, and building machinery primarily using mild steel and some aluminum.

ResponsibilitiesFabricate and assemble large-scale custom conveyor systemsPerform MIG welding and custom fabrication on machineryLayout, mount various pieces for assembly, adjust machinery to scale, drill and tap holes, mount brackets, and mount photo eyesRead and interpret blueprints and gather own materialsWeld primarily on mild steel and some aluminum (3G 1/2 inch plate steel to 11G 1/8 inch steel)Lift up to 50 lbsPerform general shop clean upAdditional Information/Pay/Shift:Our work environment involves custom fabrication and building of conveyor lines and systems for various industries, including bottling, food, and paper. This is a direct hire position with a work schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexible start and end times. The facility operates as a union shop, and candidates will join the Local 33 Sheet Metal Workers after 60 days. Please note that attendance is critical, and only five off days are allowed within a rolling 12-month period.Join a growing company with impressive sales achievements. The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00
