Job Title: Fabricator 1ST shift up to 33HR

Job Description

We are seeking a 2nd shift Shop Helper who will assist with various tasks around the shop. This role involves moving materials, fabricating metal, cutting metal, and operating a variety of equipment such as lasers, brake press, and saws. Flexibility and the ability to move between different tasks are essential for this position.

ResponsibilitiesOperate equipment and manage file settings to ensure quality control of items produced, including cut quality and hole quality.Investigate and adjust machine settings and nesting techniques to enhance quality, machine performance, and throughput.Assist programmers in creating Python laser and other equipment programs for production, including generating .DXF files for individual parts and nesting full sheets when needed.Occasionally perform physical tasks such as reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.Identify shapes such as sheet, plate, channel, tube, and flat bar, along with their thickness and gauge. Work Environment

This position is for the 2nd shift, working from 3pm to 1am, Monday through Thursday. The facility offers a clean and organized workspace. The pay rate is $22 - $28 per hour with a $5 shift differential. Occasional overtime is available.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
