Job Summary

Perform fabrication processes that vary in complexity.

 

Required Responsibilities:

Operate equipment that is part of the Fabrication department. Perform all basic preventative maintenance on associated equipment. Demonstrated understanding of all established Standard Operating Procedures. Communicate and coordinate part shortages with Team Leaders and Production Supervisors. Follow all safety and PPE requirements per established company policies. Maintain a neat and clean work area. Focus on continuous improvements within the Company.

 

 

Advanced Responsibilities:

Forklift and /or aisle stacker use to transport/relocate inventory or product.

 

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:

Not applicable.

 

Education Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Applicable technical training or experience is preferred for advanced assignments.

 

Experience Requirements:

Blueprint reading skills are preferred. Must possess the ability to apply basic math skills, specifically with fractions and decimals. Must possess strong mechanical aptitude. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

 

Quality Responsibilities:

Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and quality systems. Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system. Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.

 

 

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to normal office conditions like telephone, personal computer, reports and files.  The employee will also be exposed to normal conditions of a manufacturing facility.   The employee will be regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee will be required to stand for long periods of time.  The employee will use his/her hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and climb or balance and reach with hands and arms.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.  The employee will frequently lift, carry or otherwise move and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 70 pounds.  When working on machinery, employee will bend, stoop and crouch on a regular basis and constantly move about to coordinate work.  The employee is required to regularly set up, adjust, assemble, control, test and operate machinery.

Work Arrangement : Onsite  

Salary Range: $19/hr - $24/hr
