Job Title: Fabricator

Job Description

We are looking for experienced Fabricators to join our team, specializing in the fabrication of large gauge pipes and conveyors for heavy industries such as oil/gas, pulp paper, forestry, and environmental sectors. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with large products that can be up to a couple of hundred feet in length and have experience in a custom jobbing shop environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and driven, known for producing ramps, heavy-duty attachments, and conveyors. The job involves working with tight deadlines and custom projects, either as part of a team or independently, depending on the project. The afternoon shift runs from Monday to Thursday, 3:15 pm to 1:15 am, with paid breaks and a $2/hr afternoon premium. Overtime may be required.

ResponsibilitiesFabricate large gauge pipes and conveyors for various heavy industries.Work with thick gauge steel in a custom jobbing shop environment.Read and interpret blueprints accurately.Perform tack welding and use basic fabrication tools.Operate overhead cranes and ensure safety standards are met.Collaborate with team members or work independently based on project requirements.Essential Skills5+ years of fabricating experience in a jobbing shop with thick gauge steel.1+ years of experience in fabricating large industrial new build parts.Ability to read blueprints.Experience with tack welding.Own basic fabrication tools.Overhead crane operation experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift and overhead crane certification or the ability to attain certification.First Aid certification.Red Seal certification.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00
