This is an entry-level production role at the Greeneville Plant.

At Donaldson you’ll receive competitive benefits and starting pay of at least $17.47 an hour, with the opportunity to earn up to $18.12 an hour after just 3 months. Hours for this position is usually 6 am to 2:30 pm with occasional overtime.

Essential Functions:

Safely perform job responsibilities.Maintain quality in fabrication and assembly.  Detect unusual conditions or defective material and report to supervisor. Perform required hand and machine operations to process, form, and fabricate tubes for the manufacture of all sizes and types of oil separators and fiberglass elements. Interpret drawings and plan in proper sequence and use care in all operations to prepare parts as per drawings and specifications. Set-up and operate roll former, spot welder, saw cutoff machine, shear, various wrappers, and other necessary hand tools to form, fabricate, and prepare parts for processing. Use jigs, fixtures, positioners, clamps, etc. to align and set up work.Occasionally required to make jigs and templates.Be able to lift pallets from stack up to shoulder height.Assist with ensuring work area is kept in a clean and orderly condition and report any unusual conditions to leadership. Perform 6S duties in assigned area(s).Must have physical ability to handle any size metal or tube used in the manufacture of air oil separators. Must have the ability to interact effectively in a team-based environment. Perform other job-related duties as required or specified by leadership.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, measuring devices and standard work documents and routings. Regular and punctual daily attendance is a key requirement for success in this position.
