The Corporate and Administrative Initiatives Director is responsible for leading the administrative functions of the corporation in accordance with company objectives and policies, and with industry and regulatory requirements as appropriate. The functions within this organization include facilities management, records management, office services (print and mail), real estate, parking, owner relations, and travel.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Provide guidance and leadership of the facilities management function, including oversight of significant capital projects, and ongoing building maintenance and construction management activities. Assess the viability of utilizing internal versus external resources, and manage provisioning of associated vendors, equipment, and supplies, as needed.
+ Provide guidance and direction in the functional areas of mailroom management, printing and distribution of materials, and for operations in the provisioning and administration of services in the areas of an on-site food vendor, travel reservations, records management, and parking.
+ Plan, organize, implement, lead, and develop the team through frequent informal feedback and through subordinate leaders. Ensure team is functioning at a high level for all areas of responsibility.
+ Coordinate and collaborate frequently and effectively with peers and with third-party stakeholders, each of whom has their own business needs and perspectives.
+ Continually evaluate functions and teams for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness, while providing growth opportunities for individuals in line with business needs.
+ Evaluate the present and future needs for real estate, owned or leased, to include parking needs.
+ Maintain credibility for the administration group by providing timely and accurate analyses of budgets and timelines, project proposals, and business trends in the multiple administrative areas, and by developing fitting solutions to various administrative challenges in area of responsibility.
+ Develop, implement, and amend policies, procedures, and systems to improve the overall operation and effectiveness of those activities, particularly with regard to facility management, office space utilization and logistics, and real estate.
+ Provide technical/professional advice and knowledge in area of subject matter expertise to others within the various administrative areas and discipline.
+ Other duties as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
+ Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience in a leadership role.
+ Experience in negotiating contracts.
+ An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in oil and gas industry.
**Physical Requirements and Working Conditions**
+ Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
+ Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
+ Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
