Responsibilities:\n\nPerform regular \"sweeps\" of the workspace(s) to identify areas\/items\/equipment\/materials in need of repair, replacement or upgrade.\nReport all issues to the Facilities Manager, so as to correct.\nAssist in set-up and break-down of meetings, lunches, and events\nPerform basic maintenance of kitchen area and appliances\nCompletes porter services as necessary, could include trash can maintenance, kitchen cleaning, white board cleaning and conference room clean up.\nAssist with the set-up of audio\/visual conferencing, etc.\nOrder office supplies, assist with the stocking of supplies and help to maintain inventory sheets.\nProvides general administrative and clerical assistance.\nMaintain all work orders internal to facility operations and external to the PM through our ticketing system\nAct as back up to the Facility Coordinator for all facility vendors performing work for the client\nAssist with the AP process, coding, scanning and creating purchase orders on behalf of the client\nManages the office including resolving all facility related issues in a timely fashion\nAssist in re-stocking of the pantry snack program.\nAssist in the site space planning activities and implementation including internal moves.\nBack up to Mail and Shipping& Receiving Services for the office.\nPrepare outbound courier shipments using computer or service providers.\nControl inbound and outbound accountable packages.\nSort parcels for shipping and receiving.\nPrepare items for processing, shipment or transportation.\nMaintains time, volume and delivery records.\nScans all incoming USPS mail into department repository within 4 hours of receipt.\nPerforms other duties as assigned\n\n
Qualifications:\n\nMust have a HS diploma with trade or technical degree preferred\n1-2 years prior facilities related experience preferred\nProficiency with Microsoft office applications and good communication skills required\nStrong work ethic; diplomatic; team and service oriented; builds strong working relationships.\nExhibits exceptional customer service skills.\nConsistently demonstrates professional demeanor, appearance and attitude.\nProven ability to remain calm under pressure; resilient.\nSound judgment and problem-solving ability.\nDemonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing work environment.\nAssertive and resourceful; motivated; willing to ask questions and take initiative without direction.
