DescriptionAssist the Senior Facilities Planning Coordinator in supporting Pathology locations at EUH, Annex, Emory Primate Center, Woodruff Memorial Research Building, Whitehead Biomedical Building, Dental Building, Johns Creek, Grady, and EUHM. This will involve carrying out the key responsibilities listed below.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Acts as liaison with building services and maintenance on facilities cleaning and maintenance needs; coordinates and ensures follow through. Coordinates day-to-day building services requests and needs; meets regularly with building services supervisor. Identifies and coordinates routine repair and maintenance issues with building maintenance representative. Provides support for a wide variety of building/facility related maintenance issues and projects. Performs other related duties as required.ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:
Submit Work Orders for HC, University, IT, and LIT; Provide customer services with follow-up and tracking to completion.Update Signage for Whitehead and WMB, and work with vendors for HC.Track Bio-Safety Cabinet Certification Renewals.Track Equipment Service Contracts.Track Innovative Water Services.Track Liquid Nitrogen, dry ice, and CO2 tank rental schedule and tracking-Submit Staples Order to Finance Team for processing.Request access and key requests for the department’s faculty, staff and students for healthcare and University Systems.Plan and schedule Preventative Maintenance with Vendors.Assist with maintaining SOM Workspace Survey Tracking for nine locations.Assist with equipment inventory by maintaining equipment moves and surplus at nine locations.Assist with performing building inspections to monitor common areas for general cleanliness, surplus items, and repairs.Order equipment supplies to include Sheath Fluid, Imaging fixer and replenisherAssist with Lab decommissioning.Other task as assigned.Assist in overseeing the scheduling, coordination, and inspection of building projects; and related work as required.Assist in the planning and scheduling of maintenance repairs.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or equivalent and three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
