Job Description Position requirements are to perform a variety of repairs and services in a specialized building system environment with a high emphasis on HVAC and Mechanical Systems. Working knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems, Electrical / Electronic, Security Systems, BAS, and other similar types of related equipment and systems is a PLUS. Main Duties: 1. Service and Maintain HVAC systems to keep within allowable parameters. 2. Performs a variety of minor service work for areas such as painting, plumbing, mechanical, electrical / electronic, security, electronic locking doors, hydraulics, carpentry, and machine servicing, etc. 3. Will plan, select, and lay out required materials for service and repair work. 4. Complete assigned Preventive Maintenance tasks. 5. Ability to understand building prints, schematics and other available documents while troubleshooting system or other types work requests. 6. Assist with managing subcontracted work to ensure proper notifications are sent, work is completed in accordance with designed scope of work and ensures all safety requirements are met. 7. Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and machines instrumental to building operations. 8. Provide detailed information related to procurement group for new supplies and equipment. 9. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and complies with all company policies. 10. Is required to participate in an on-call rotation schedule to attend to emergency situations at the facility.
