Monitor and assist the maintenance of all SHI's Austin facilities systems and buildings, provide support to SHI employees, as required. Ensure SHI’s operations remain appropriately stocked. 

 

This position reports to the Facilities Operations Manager and is performed in SHI’s Austin office locations.

Include but not limited to:

Distributes packages and materials to the different departments of the company.Maintains incoming and outgoing shipment/mail logs.Responsible for weekly (and bi-weekly, if necessary) inventory checksRestocks office and kitchen supplies companywide in a timely basis.Places orders with Office Assistants to maintain inventory levels.Reports any issues with the building or garage to lead or manager.Helps leadership and other departments with projects as needed.Maintains company vehicles, keeps an eye on fluid levels.Reports any vehicle issue or concerns to facilities lead or managerSets up conference rooms and training rooms upon request from Austin managementAssist with setting up catering for various eventsCover front desk, if neededAssists building engineer, as needed.May be some travel requested Qualifications High School DiplomaMust have a Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record1 year experience in package handlingKnowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word Required Skills Effectively communicate orally and in writingAbility to use PC’s or Laptops to monitor inventories reorder supplies and write reports.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of assignment.Ability to work extra hours as neededComplete assignments in a timely manner.May be required to stoop, bend, kneel and squat for extended periods of time.May be required to lift and move items up to 70lbs.

 

Certifications Required

A successful candidate must possess the following certification, if the certification is not held at time of hire, the candidate must obtain it within a short period of acting in the role.

The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
