Description Our client, a thriving pioneer in the biotech industry, is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join their team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in facilities management and a strong understanding of the biotech industry's unique needs. Job Responsibilities: + Coordinate and monitor facilities maintenance needs to maintain functional and organized operations. + Oversee the scheduling and execution of regular site inspections and audits. + Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for equipment maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, and other services. + Handle facilities emergencies professionally and responsibly. + Coordinate and assist with office relocations, expansions, and minor construction projects. + Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. + Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met. Requirements + Proven experience as a Facilities Coordinator or similar role, preferably within the biotech industry. + Knowledge of basic operations, maintenance, and repair procedures. + Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. + Ability to read and understand floor plans and blueprints. + Strong organizational and management abilities. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility management software. + Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the biotech industry. Education: A degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Proven work experience in the field can be considered in lieu of a degree.
