**The Role**
The purpose of this position is to provides assistance to Facility Management team in completion of multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus or portfolio of buildings. The Facilities Coordinator is to manage vendors for the provision of preventive maintenance and corrective repairs of the building, including fair bidding, and preparation of documentation required for day-to-day activities.
**Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Oversees and/or coordinates maintenance/repair work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping, and janitorial work.
+ Responds to client inquires and complaints. Ensures timely and quality service delivery to clients. Follows up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
+ Performs facilities inspections and prepares reports.
+ May coordinate and manage move, add and change activities.
+ Manages vendor relationships and trains vendors on work order and billing procedures. Processes invoices and ensures proper cost centre coding.
+ Uses pc and/or PDA for work order system, email, ESS, process and procedure training.
+ May coordinate and manage move, add and change activities.
+ Complete all required and assigned HSE training at a satisfactory level,
+ Follow all activity policies and procedures, including all HSE-related requirements at all times,
+ Participate in all HSE-related programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing and assessment, etc.
+ Report any conditions which you feel could result in an accident or injury and / or stop work if required.
+ Responsible for personal safety and the safety of those who are affected by your work. This includes but is not limited to:
+ Other duties may be assigned.
**Requirements**
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
+ Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
+ Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires analytical and quantitative skills.
+ Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet. Ability to use work order system. Working knowledge of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems.
