Facilities Coordinator - Hudson Yards Experiences (Temporary)
Responsibilities The Hudson Yards Experiences team is seeking a temporary experienced facilities coordinator to join our team supporting our 3 Hudson Yards attractions: Edge, Vessel and City Climb. As a facilities coordinator, you may oversee equipment maintenance and repair, inspect the grounds and assist other employees. Your main role is to ensure a safe and effective work environment. This may require enforcing new policies, ensuring the proper use of equipment and reporting accidents. Depending on your level of responsibility, you may also need to confirm that all personnel are present and find solutions when someone is missing. Other job duties may include: Instill a safety-first culture throughout the attraction. Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly inspections are being completed. Review work orders to ensure that assignments are completed. Fixing minor issues in appliances or arranging for repairs when needed Carry out routine maintenance and repairs for Vessel, The Edge, and City Climb facilities. Conduct daily inspections of all audio/visual technology including all displays and audio playback to ensure smooth daily show operation. Inspect and maintain content and media servers, signal processors. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Removing hazardous materials from all areas accessible to employees and guests Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems (e.g. heating system, plumbing, electrical, carpentry) Check rooms and furniture to identify needs for repairs or renovations Fix minor malfunctions in office equipment Maintain problem call history by recording tickets in a help desk tracking database. Research new services and appliances to facilitate operations Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment and parts spares to complete assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner. Other duties as assigned. Compensation: $31/HR Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 2pm-10pm Friday-Saturday: 7am-4pm Sunday: 3pm-11pm Tuesday-Wednesday: Off Qualifications Work experience as a Facilities Coordinator or similar role Strong knowledge of facilities management operations Familiarity with office equipment and security systems Knowledge of A/V systems a plus Hands on experience with facilities management software is a plus Understanding of safety regulations in offices Well-organized Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multitask as necessary to meet a deadline Open to new learning and quickly adapts to change Proficient with Work Order systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to stakeholders. Sound judgement and the ability to think quickly during emergencies Strong knowledge of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems.
