Facilities Coordinator Tech.

Description

Facilities / Chemical Coordinator is responsible for performing / overseeing all Chemical and Hazardous Waste Management Operations. This position is working for Chemicomays at their client which is Honeywell Engines in Phoenix. The basic function will be:

- Sitting on site doing Inventory management

- Visual inspection reporting

- coordinating deliveries

- scheduling incoming and outgoing shipments

- Receiving of chemical shipments.

- Stock oil/chemicals and spill control materials based on client process requirements.

- Prepare materials for proper transport and delivery to the requested delivery location as indicated on the client work order request.

- Store all materials in the client’s main chemical storage yard. All materials will be stored on pallets, racks or containment devices.

- Conduct weekly inspections of the yard

- Inspect waste containers to ensure that they meet DOT packaging requirements prior to loading the trailer

- Monitor the telemetry on the used oil tanks and notify our client point of contact when they tanks are full and ready to ship

- properly labeled containers for the accumulation of industrial wastes

- load trucks for all hazardous and non-hazardous waste shipments

Employee will be on the floor 20% of the time doing the physical work and inspections and on the computer doing coordination 80% of the time.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Required:

•\t1+ years of experience in a role using computers to do inventory management and scheduling of incoming and outgoing shipments

•\t1+ year of experience working in an industrial environment - can be construction, manufacturing, distribution or a services company

•\tAbility to lift up to 35 pounds

•\tCurrent and valid licenses

•\tPossesses intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet and database software

•\tAbility to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of computer

•\tAbility to stand for prolonged periods and walk within very large industrial environments

Preferred:

- Exposure to industrial safety programs and training

- Background in chemicals

- Background in Aerospace

- Hazwopper

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
