Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Director with a strong experience in HVAC, mechanical, and electrical engineering. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facilities maintenance, vendor management, and healthcare management. This role requires a professional with excellent management and supervisory skills.

ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee all aspects of facilities maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.Supervise and lead a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective services.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues within the facility.Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards.Manage the budget and ensure cost-effective operations of the facility.Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.Essential SkillsExtensive experience in facilities maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.Strong vendor management and facility management skills.Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.Excellent management and supervisory skills.Professional Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical) experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsEPA certification.Class A License / NJ Seal License.Experience managing trades.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Healthcare experience.Strong customer service skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role operates on a 1st Shift (7 AM - 3:30 PM) within a healthcare environment. Our organization is the leading academic health system in South Jersey, providing access to a comprehensive range of care services.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Camden, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $170000.00/yr.

Paid Time Off (PTO): Employees who have completed at least six months of service are eligible for PTO. Accrued but unused PTO is paid out up to a maximum of 40 hours at the employee's current base salary or hourly wage upon separation1.

401k Plan: The company offers a 401k retirement savings plan. Employees can contribute a portion of their salary to the plan, and the company may match a percentage of the contributions2.

Incentive Growth Plan (IGP): Employees participating in the Incentive Growth Plan may be eligible for a disbursement upon separation, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the plan3.

Health Savings Account (HSA): Contributions to the HSA end with the employee's last paycheck. The account remains active, with a monthly administrative fee deducted from the account1.

Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage: Coverage ends on the last day of the month in which employment ends. COBRA information is mailed to employees when coverage ends3.

Disability, Life, and AD&D Coverage: These coverages end on the last day of work4.
