Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Electrical Engineer to join our team in Russell's Point, OH. This role involves planning, implementation, and standardization of building controls utilizing self, team, and contractor abilities. You will be responsible for directing site building control activities to meet site needs, ensuring controls architecture consistency between sites, and analyzing technology trends.

ResponsibilitiesManage BMS (Building Management System) specification, design, and operation.Develop and implement a multiyear strategy to complete BMS migration.Collaborate with Facilities controls leaders to standardize a unified approach.Manage and oversee programming and work with the IT networking team to optimize network and manage server applications.Direct and collaborate with site representatives to ensure consistency and optimal system performance.Present updates and core functionality to leaders.Manage periodic updates and maintenance of the system.Manage submission of yearly planning requirement documentation and create planning documents for budgeting and approval events.Create roles and responsibility documents for quick reference and management of change.Support FAC Operations with mechanical/electrical/controls design and specification.Apply analytical and troubleshooting skills to minimize mean time to recovery.Support operation of Facilities mechanical systems including centrifugal fans, burners, cooling/heating coils, pumps, centrifugal air compressors, centrifugal chillers, heat exchangers, utilities, and metering.Manage and maintain documentation for site control systems.Communicate critical updates to site system operators.Train FAC Associates on enhancements to operations related to controls and mechanical/electrical systems.Provide support on an as-needed basis and ensure reference documentation is available and easily accessed.Create scope documents based on unit/department project requirements.Manage and/or support the bidding, evaluation, and selection process of contractors for the design and construction of Facilities and department-led projects.Create project budgets and ensure accuracy; supervise engineers and on-site contractors.Determine and prioritize project tasks and develop project schedules and timelines to achieve project goals on time and within budget.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Controls)2-6 years of experience in a Facilities Project Management roleExperience with Industrial Mechanical systems, Facilities maintenance, HVAC, substation maintenance, Electrical Facilities, compressors, cooling coils, centrifugal air compressors, mechanical systemsAdditional Skills & QualificationsFacilities Electrical ExperienceWork Environment

This role involves working in both office and industrial environments. The candidate must have the ability to work overtime as needed to complete tasks and meet deadlines, and be available to work on appropriate weekends/shutdowns to manage projects and cover production needs. You will be part of an automotive OEM work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $105000.00
