Facilities Chemical Engineerは半導体プロセス/設備/製造の流れを理解して安全、かつ安定的なUtility供給を優先に、法令・規定を順守した設備設計・工事管理・新規導入・メンテナンス計画を行う。また、既存設備のトラブル・リスク等に対する技術的改善を図ることを職務とする。

Capacity算出、設備導入計画立案新規設備の設計、導入工程・工事管理将来計画を見据えた新技術動向調査ならびに改善の計画既存設備のリスク調査および改善マイクロン他サイトとの技術情報共有設備オペレーション・メンテナンスの計画、実施対応設備トラブルに対しての応急措置、対策検討コスト・省エネ・環境管理活動の推進設備トレーニング・基準書(SOP)の作成・提供・教育技術レポート・資料の作成・検討案の発表協力会社(メーカー、ベンダー)との議論、交渉
