We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer in support of the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS). The position will conduct technical evaluations of Facility Work Orders (CWOs) related to industrial plant equipment, infrastructure, and real property projects. They will track and report the daily status of CWO execution, coordinating with independent contractors and government representatives to ensure progress and resolve issues. Additionally, this position will perform plant walkthroughs, document project development, and provide recommendations for facility problem resolutions to the JSMC Facility Contract COR.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and track the day-to-day status of project development. Identify and analyze facility problems, providing recommendations to the JSMC Facility Contract Contracting Officers Representative (COR). Communicate and manage expectations with independent contractors in coordination with the JSMC Facility Contract COR and PCO. Assist the Government JSMC Liaison in collecting, tracking, and reporting CWO progress metrics. QualificationsSecret Security Clearance A Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited program in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering from a college or university preferred.  Five years’ experience in production, manufacturing, facilities or similar is preferred.    Additional Information
