Job Title: Facilities Engineer

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am to 5pm
Pay: 100K-140K
Overview:
Responsible for the implementation of manufacturing support processes, instrumentation and equipment for offices, labs and manufacturing. At the direction of the Head of Facilities, provide support in facilities such as processing, engineering, design, project coordination, start-up, and validation of GMP and non-GMP utilities and facilities areas and systems. Ensure all work and documentation are in accordance with cGMP and company guidelines.
Responsibilities Pharmaceutical process or biotechnology experience preferred. Knowledge of GMPs is preferred. Basic knowledge and understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s) and facility drawings desirable. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work in a high-paced team-oriented environment. Project management skills. Knowledge of the building process and construction principles and the subject areas of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles and theories and operations for all the equipment and systems used in manufacturing facilities. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or equivalent technical experience considered. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in building operations, engineering and equipment and systems maintenance with a minimum of three (3) years as a facility engineer or similar role preferred.
