Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to manage and optimize our building systems, infrastructure, and assets. The ideal candidate will oversee maintenance operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement strategies for efficient and sustainable facility management.

Key Responsibilities:

Asset Management:

Maintain and update asset records in the asset management systemConduct regular criticality and condition assessmentsDevelop and implement maintenance strategiesProduce annual and 5-year asset capital replacement plans

Maintenance Operations:

Oversee planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance for all facility assetsManage statutory inspections and testingCoordinate specialist engineering and handyman servicesEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Technical Administration:

Manage records, O&M manuals, and technical documentationOperate building management systemsOversee work order management and performance monitoringMaintain technical library and manage subcontractors

Infrastructure Management:

Maintain site infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systemsOversee building fabric maintenance and site infrastructure upkeepManage specialized systems (e.g., lifts, fire systems, water management)

Project Management:

Initiate and manage capital projects and improvementsCoordinate with contractors and vendors for installations and upgradesManage project budgets and timelines

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and policiesManage permits, licenses, and certificationsConduct risk assessments and implement safety measures

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare regular reports on asset performance and conditionAnalyze maintenance data to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesProvide recommendations for cost savings and efficiency enhancements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering3 years of experience in facilities management or building engineeringStrong knowledge of building systems and asset management principlesFamiliarity with CMMS and building automation systemsExperience with project management and budget controlUnderstanding of relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO 55000)Excellent problem-solving and leadership skillsRelevant certifications (e.g., PE, CEM, FMP) are a plus

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, capable of managing complex facility operations while driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
