Facilities Engineer - LME

Facilities Engineer at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center (Full-Time, Day Schedule).

$5,000 hiring/sign-on bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

This position requires you to have a Limited Maintenance Electrician license or Plant Journeyman, or General Journeyman upon hire.

The Building Engineer supports the environment required for the delivery of health care services. The building engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of the building systems by monitoring, operating and maintaining, building systems and equipment. The building engineer is expected to competently carry out the following duties:

Maintain a safe patient care environment and workplace. Support a respectful, cooperative, and positive work environment. Maintain and repair mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems, hospital equipment and appliances.

Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Successfully completed a stationary engineer apprenticeship or equivalent training. Experienced in operation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training Trained in use of computerized building controls system (DDC). Or equivalent educ/experience. 3 years Experience in central plant operations and maintenance.
