Sodexo is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager 2 for University Hospitals Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby, Ohio. This role will oversee a team of 6 and provide leadership for our facilities teams in delivering safe, sanitary, and innovative services to our customers. This role will report into the Director of Facilities and is located in the Cleveland, Ohio metropolitan area. This position is initially temporary, with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. 

 

 Key Responsibilities:

Assist in leading the facilities maintenance operations at this siteDeliver strategic and operational objectives by reducing facility costs, improving productivity, revenue-generating capacity, and image of the entire organizationOversee Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Work with third-party contractors and vendors

5+ years' management experience in hands-on operational roles within an industrial or manufacturing environmentA proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience Strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape and energy managementDemonstrated business and financial acumen with budget experience

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years   

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
