Are you a skilled maintenance professional looking for an active, hands-on role with growth potential? We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Field Technician to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across multiple locations. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a company vehicle and gas card provided. If you have expertise in Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, or Central Utility Plant Operations, this role is for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Maintain and repair Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control Systems to keep facilities up to standard.

Travel between multiple facilities, ensuring proper functionality of all building systems.

Take responsibility for preventative maintenance, inventory control, purchasing, and contractor management.

Perform equipment maintenance, including cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and replacing parts to keep HVAC systems operating efficiently.

Record readings, make adjustments, and ensure all equipment is running at peak performance.

Safely store, use, and dispose of hazardous materials, maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Perform tool and instrument inventory checks to keep equipment in working order.

Oversee maintenance work performed by outside contractors, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

Follow all safety protocols, recognize hazards, and propose corrective actions.

What You Bring to the Table:

5-7 years of experience in commercial building maintenance and repairs.

Ability to diagnose and repair Commercial or Industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.

EPA 608 Type II Certification – required for HVAC work.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.

Valid driver’s license – required for site travel.

High school diploma or equivalent – we prioritize experience and technical skills.

Bonus Points If You Have:

EPA 608 Universal Certification – additional qualifications are a plus!

Technical training in Electrical Systems, Refrigeration, or HVAC – specialized knowledge is highly valued.

Pay Details: $33.00 per hour
