Working here you’ll be part of a family that works together to make a difference and enhance the lives of millions worldwide. **What You’ll Work On** + Maintain the plant buildings and grounds including, but not limited to, HVAC, elevators, utilities distribution systems, floors, walls, ceilings, roofs, sewer systems, doors, parking lots, lawns and vegetation. + Manage the operation of the laundry, housekeeping, recycle center, solid and liquid hazardous and non-hazardous waste. + Manage the maintenance of all plant vehicles and associated equipment such as forklifts, high lifts, fleet cars and trucks. + Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system. + Exterior grounds maintenance-cleanup, lawn care, snow removal, parking lot walkways, shrubs, etc. Coordinate all facilities work with the effected departments. + Coordinate the inspections of fire protection systems, fogging systems and utilities distribution systems. + Schedule and supervise contractors for facilities maintenance, painting, roofing, lawn, floor and tile work, insulation, windows, doors, etc. + Be Project Engineer and/or Project Sponsor for minor and major facilities projects such as re-roofing and expansions. Manage janitorial, laundry, recycling/trash removal services on three shifts. Maintain hazardous waste disposal activities and records. + Manage the plant Pest and Rodent Control Program. + Maintain plant facilities, buildings, grounds and the fixed assets of the buildings to permit the safe, efficient and economical conduct of business at the Casa Grande plant in compliance with all plant and regulatory requirements. + Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping in plant common areas such as offices, restrooms, and hallways. + Manage Manufacturing Services and Laundry. Responsible for operation of the Recycle Center, Hazardous Waste Removal, Waste Oil Removal. + Maintain a fleet of fork trucks to provide safe and reliable equipment to meet plant requirements. Perform daily maintenance and repair to the fork truck batteries used to power the plant fork trucks. Maintain the plant vehicle fleet to provide safe and reliable transportation. + Keep adequate supply of products and goods to be purchased by employees through cash sales. Maintain reliable and fair hours to all employees on all shifts. Manage security of the buildings and grounds by maintaining fences, doors, gates, lighting, and fire system. + Manage Direct Reports. You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree Required + Technical expertise required for facilities maintenance and fork truck repair + Experience managing a staff **Preferred Qualifications** + BS Engineering Preferred In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
