Position: Facilities Maintenance Manager
Hourly/Non-Exempt: $25 Hourly
Location: Pearl at Kalauao
Facility: 18-hole public course

Position Summary:
The Facility Maintenance Manager will perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure that all buildings, facilities, and equipment are in good working order. This position involves handling general repairs, inspecting systems, and troubleshooting various issues. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with management to address any facility-related problems efficiently, ensuring that the property remains safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:

2-4 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field High School (or equivalent) Diploma Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC systems, and basic landscaping Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to use hand and power tools effectively

Responsibilities:

Perform regular inspections and maintenance of all buildings, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Conduct repairs on facility structures and equipment as needed Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to schedule Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management Maintain records of work completed, including materials used and time spent on tasks Coordinate with outside contractors when necessary for specialized repairs or large projects Maintain cleanliness, refill all paper products and keep order in all restrooms and storage areas. Assist with setup and breakdown for events, including furniture arrangements, lighting, and minor facility adjustments Perform other duties as assigned by management

 

Working Conditions:

Physical activity includes long periods of standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting Frequent use of hands and arms for tool handling and repairs Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs Work may involve exposure to extreme weather conditions, noise, dust, and potentially hazardous materials May require work on weekends and holidays, as needed
