Facilities Maintenance Manager
**Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Manager** **Job Description** The Facilities Maintenance Manager oversees the upkeep and repair of all production equipment and the regular maintenance of the facility. This role includes managing projects related to production and facility improvements, such as installations and renovations based off demands. The manager is also responsible for supervising the maintenance team. **Responsibilities** + Oversee the maintenance of plant machinery and equipment according to a preventive maintenance schedule to ensure optimal performance and reliability. + Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as they arise. + Accurately document all maintenance actions in the equipment log to maintain thorough records for each piece of equipment. + Implement equipment upgrades as directed by Engineering or the Production Manager. + Handle routine maintenance tasks for the facility as needed. + Ensure the tool room is stocked with the necessary tools, equipment, and supplies for maintenance tasks and production needs. + Keep the maintenance department's library of equipment manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings up to date. + Adhere to safety protocols, promptly addressing or reporting unsafe conditions, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. + Locate and coordinate the purchase, delivery, and installation of production equipment as instructed by the VP of Operations; some travel may be required. + Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and their workflow. **Essential Skills** + Experience in maintenance, facilities, PLC, preventive maintenance, facilities maintenance, plumbing, electrical, conveyor systems, hydraulics, repair, pneumatics, and supervision. + Good job stability throughout work history + Knowledge of machinery and equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, electrical systems, carpentry, plumbing, gas-fired industrial ovens, thermal oxidizers, LFL systems, web-based conveyance systems, and static control systems. + Ability to read and interpret machine schematics, PLCs, troubleshooting manuals, and maintain organized maintenance logs. + Experience using precision measuring tools (e.g., dial caliper, micrometer, multimeter, tachometer, static detection meters). + Strong understanding of fabrication techniques with various materials. **Why Work Here?** This family-owned company values its employees and fosters a supportive and inclusive work environment. They have a company policy that each employee receives an annual performance assessment- and it typically results in a 2-4% raise every year. They can also be promoted to a lead or supervisor, which would also increase their pay rate. 96 hours of PTO given a year, 9 paid holidays off per year. They have a very solid 401k match too.
