**Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** The Facilities & Maintenance Technician will be responsible for entry-level building facility tasks and assisting Lead Maintenance Technicians with the maintenance of injection molding and accessory machinery. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, basic electrical, plumbing, door hardware repair, painting, floor repair, and machinery maintenance. The candidate must be organized and able to follow work instructions. They are responsible for documenting completed work via the ERP System (IQMS). The role involves frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and pushing/pulling of parts. You may be required to stand for long periods and must be able to lift up to 45 pounds. The job may require working from heights over 20’ and climbing ladders over 30’ **Responsibilities** + Observe all safety regulations and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner + Perform basic electrical work on 120V circuits + Conduct basic plumbing work + Install warehouse guardrails and hardware + Perform painting tasks + Clean, inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions + Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools + Perform routine building/maintenance inspections such as rooftop units, production equipment, drives, motors or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or conducting other preventative maintenance actions + Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them + Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers + Assemble, install, or repair equipment, machinery, components, etc. + Maintain reliable attendance + Use a computer and technology to track and document work orders + Perform other duties as assigned by management **Essential Skills** + High School diploma or equivalent + Experience with building equipment such as air compressors, chiller systems, tower water systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and door hardware + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions + Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance + Knowledge of safety procedures pertaining to general operation **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with large-tonnage injection molding maintenance preferred but not required **Why Work Here?** Enjoy three weeks of vacation pay per year, prorated based on your start date. Amounts to be determined based upon performance. - Health Benefits – as listed on 2024 Thermoflex Benefits Summary - 401K – Employee deferred contributions after 90 days of employment.
