Job Description
The Facilities & Maintenance Technician will be responsible for entry-level building facility tasks and assisting other Maintenance Technicians with the maintenance of injection molding and accessory machinery. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, basic electrical, plumbing, door hardware repair, painting, floor repair, and machinery maintenance. The candidate must be organized and able to follow work instructions. They are responsible for documenting completed work via the ERP System (IQMS). The role involves frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and pushing/pulling of parts. You may be required to stand for long periods and must be able to lift up to 45 pounds. The job may require working from heights over 20’ and climbing ladders over 30’
ResponsibilitiesObserve all safety regulations and perform duties in a safe and efficient mannerPerform basic electrical work on 120V circuitsConduct basic plumbing workInstall warehouse guardrails and hardwarePerform painting tasksClean, inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctionsDismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power toolsPerform routine building/maintenance inspections such as rooftop units, production equipment, drives, motors or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or conducting other preventative maintenance actionsDiagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct themOrder parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliersAssemble, install, or repair equipment, machinery, components, etc.Maintain reliable attendanceUse a computer and technology to track and document work ordersPerform other duties as assigned by managementEssential SkillsHigh School diploma or equivalentExperience with building equipment such as air compressors, chiller systems, tower water systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and door hardwareAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsKnowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceKnowledge of safety procedures pertaining to general operationAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with large-tonnage injection molding maintenance preferred but not requiredWhy Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
- Vacation Pay –Three weeks (15 days) per year, prorated based on start date.
- Bonuses – Discretionary bonus paid bi-annually. Amounts to be determined based upon performance.
- Health Benefits – as listed on 2024 Thermoflex Benefits Summary
- 401K – Employee deferred contributions after 90 days of employment. Employer matching: 100% of the first 3% deferral, and 50% of the next 2% deferral, subject to the service and vesting requirements as set forth in the 401k Plan Documents.
