Facilities Maintenance Mechanic
**Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** The Facilities & Maintenance Technician will be responsible for entry-level building facilities tasks and assisting the lead Maintenance Technicians with the maintenance of injection molding and accessory machinery. Responsibilities include basic electrical, plumbing, door hardware repair, painting, floor repair, and machinery maintenance. The candidate must be organized and capable of following work instructions and documenting work completed via the ERP System (IQMS). **Responsibilities** + Observe all safety regulations and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner. + Wire a 120 circuit, change out outlets and receptacles, change light fixtures and ballast, and bend conduit. + Perform basic plumbing work. + Install warehouse guardrails and hardware. + Paint as needed. + Clean, inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. + Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools. + Perform routine building/maintenance inspections such as checking rooftop units, production equipment, drives, motors, belts, fluid levels, replacing filters, and other preventative maintenance actions. + Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them. + Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers. + Assemble, install, or repair equipment, machinery, components, etc. + Maintain reliable attendance. + Use a computer and technology to track and document work orders. + Perform other duties as assigned by management. **Essential Skills** + Basic plumbing skills. + Facilities maintenance experience. + Basic electrical skills. + Repair and painting skills. + Drywall and troubleshooting skills. + HVAC maintenance experience. + Preventive maintenance skills. + Carpentry skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or equivalent. + Experience with large tonnage injection molding maintenance preferred but not required. + Previous experience with building equipment such as air compressors, chiller systems, tower water systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and door hardware. + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. + Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. + Knowledge of safety procedures pertaining to the general operator. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy three weeks of vacation pay per year, prorated based on start date. Amounts to be determined based upon performance. - Health Benefits – as listed on 2024 Thermoflex Benefits Summary - 401K – Employee deferred contributions after 90 days of employment.
