The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will perform preventive maintenance functions and other repairs to ensure all equipment is in good working order for the Corporate Offices. They will also assist with department moves, assembling office furniture and equipment as directed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform preventive maintenance on all HVAC units at the corporate office on a monthly basis. This would include filter changes and coil cleaning when scheduled
Perform electrical requirements as needed for the corporate offices, as assigned by the Facilities Project Coordinator and/or Facilities Maintenance Lead
Perform plumbing, carpentry, general maintenance, and fabrication duties as needed for the corporate offices, as assigned by the Facilities Project Coordinator and/or Facilities Maintenance Lead
Assist with general maintenance as assigned by the Corporate Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor which will include changing lights, ballasts, painting, and general maintenance
Assist in department moves; including taking apart and setting up new cubicles and offices, movable partitions, and office furniture and equipment at the corporate complex or distribution center facilities
General Maintenance of the corporate buildings and grounds including removing trash, cardboard and pallets. Snow removal, spreading salt, pulling and spraying weeds, etc.
Provide afterhours assistance in the event of an emergency or inclement weather conditions as directed by the Corporate Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:Basic knowledge in the area of building and equipment maintenance
Work experience needed in all fields listed above, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, welding, painting and general ground maintenance
Desired:EPA certification
Class E license
