Job Description
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair operations at a union facility group. The role involves managing a team of trades workers responsible for HVAC, plumbing, millwright, painting, and electrical repairs. The supervisor will handle scheduling, ordering, and the overall management of repairs.
ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage a team of trades workers performing HVAC, plumbing, millwright, painting, and electrical repairs.Coordinate and schedule repair and maintenance activities.Order necessary supplies and equipment for facility maintenance.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards.Provide leadership and supervision to the maintenance team.Essential SkillsExtensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility-based maintenance.Proven leadership, management, and supervision skills.Experience in preventive maintenance and facilities management.Strong understanding of electrical maintenance, HVAC maintenance, and building maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in construction and carpentry.Knowledge of drywall, painting, and millwright work.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role is based at General Motors Flint Assembly, overseeing maintenance for the truck and engine facilities. The environment is dynamic, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The dress code is aligned with safety regulations, ensuring a professional and secure workplace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
