**Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)**
**Job Description**
Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital, hospital equipment, and hospital properties utilizing the computerized maintenance management system. Identify and correct problems such as mechanical systems (pumps, belt drivers, gear reduction drives, piping, valve diagnosis and replacement), plumbing systems (installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for waste water distribution and waste water disposal), electrical systems (install, test, maintain, and diagnose electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, fixtures, components, and systems), and control systems (sensors, limit switches, solenoids, motors). Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment, utilities, and the like. Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, educational opportunities, and related training.
**Responsibilities**

+ Utilize the computerized maintenance management system for various tasks.
+ Identify and correct problems in mechanical systems such as pumps, belt drivers, gear reduction drives, piping, and valve diagnosis and replacement.
+ Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for waste water distribution and waste water disposal.
+ Install, test, maintain, and diagnose electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, fixtures, components, and systems.
+ Work on control systems such as sensors, limit switches, solenoids, and motors.
+ Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment and utilities.
+ Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, educational opportunities, and related training.

**Work Environment**
Work inside a hospital with a team size of 15-20. The position requires working the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am. Interviews will be conducted with the hiring manager during the third shift.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $38.00/hr.
