Facilities Maintenance Technician
**Seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Minneapolis** **Job Description** + Maintenance in PSM/RMP/ISO/SQF regulated and certified facilities. + Maintain accurate reports and records including documentation of systems and components. + Perform general facility and equipment repairs including; pipe fitting, pump repair, HVAC, compressors, pump operations, tank inspections, and sprinkler systems. + Provide feedback for engineers to help modify existing equipment and improve the design of future equipment. Respond to trouble calls quickly and make repairs as needed. Direct the work of 3rd party contractors/vendors. + Snow removal and salting of driveways and entryways. Available for on-call emergencies. + Uphold our client’s standards for quality and safety through continuous improvement activities and adherence to applicable environmental, safety and health regulations and policies. **Hours & Pay:** $30+/hr Depending on Experience 1st Shift 8:00am - 4:30pm or 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 40-46 works per week typically *May be on call and require some Saturday work for special projects and could be asked to float to other plants in the cities should there be some extra support needed **Work Environment** Our client is a chemical distribution facility in Minneapolis, MN. The individual in this position must be okay working around chemicals, they follow strict safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment. This position may require the tech to be exposed to heights so being afraid of heights would disqualify a candidate for the position. This is a formulator, manufacturer, blender, distributor, and sales agent for thousands of industrial chemicals and reagent grade laboratory chemicals sold to municipalities and businesses throughout the Central United States. Thousands of water treatment facilities, manufacturers, food and dairy producers, research labs and many other organizations depend on our client for the chemical products they need.
