About the Role:

Morrisons is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at our meat manufacturing site. This role will focus on ensuring the smooth operation of the site's facilities, carrying out essential maintenance tasks to support the overall efficiency of the plant.

You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance activities related to your primary skill set, helping to ensure that facilities and equipment are kept in excellent condition. This is an exciting opportunity for a technician with a strong background in a single trade (e.g., electrical or mechanical) looking to contribute in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform planned and reactive maintenance work on the site’s facilities, focusing on your specific trade expertise (e.g., electrical, mechanical, plumbing).

Diagnose and repair faults in the facility’s systems and equipment to minimise downtime.

Assist with the maintenance of key infrastructure systems, such as boilers, lighting, and plumbing.

Ensure that all work complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.

Keep accurate maintenance records and ensure that repairs and servicing are conducted in line with company procedures.

Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth site operations and coordinate maintenance activities.

Support continuous improvement efforts to increase the efficiency and reliability of site facilities.
