Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. + Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor. + Cleans internal areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping. + Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities. + Maintains structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings. + Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment. + Builds, repairs, and installs counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, doors, building framework, and trim. + Replaces damaged ceiling tile, floor tile, and wall coverings. + Assists in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance. + Assists other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
