**Facilities Maintenance Technician** Currently hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician in the Mokena, IL area. Hiring immediately. **Pay** :$25-$30/HR. No OT. **Shift** : 1st shift. (7AM-4PM) **Description:** • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting. • Conduct repairs and troubleshooting for facility-related issues, such as leaks, electrical faults, and structural damage. • Oversee the maintenance of the plant's exterior, including landscaping, parking lots, and building integrity. • Ensure all building systems are in compliance with safety regulations and codes. • Monitor and maintain security systems, fire alarms, and emergency lighting. • Maintain records of building maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections. • Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations. • Respond promptly to facility maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize operational disruptions. • Participate in renovations or construction projects within the facility, assisting with installations and structural adjustments as required. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + HVAC maintenance + Plumbing + Electrical system maintenance + Troubleshooting + Compliance with safety regulations + Record-keeping **Work Environment:** • Working in a department with 14 other people. • On your own for the most part. • Climate-controlled environment and is generally pretty clean. • Well-lit facility. • Fast-paced environment. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
