**Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a candidate to assist with facilities maintenance and building upkeep. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to plumbing, electrical, and structural systems, with a focus on preventative maintenance and repair.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
+ Conduct visual inspections of facilities and document findings using maintenance software.
+ Replace light bulbs and unclog drains as needed.
+ Paint various materials or textures.
+ Operate a tablet to manage maintenance tasks.
+ Work with hydraulic systems and HVAC/Boiler systems.
+ Handle electrical systems, including 277/480V.
+ Work multiple shifts and weekends as required.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1-3 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, and structural maintenance.
+ Knowledge of hydraulic systems.
+ Experience with preventative maintenance.
+ Ability to operate a tablet.
+ Experience working with 277/480V electrical systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of HVAC/Boiler systems is a plus.
+ Willingness to learn different types of systems.
+ Basic knowledge of light plumbing.
+ Flexibility to work overtime and on weekends.

**Work Environment**
This role requires the ability to work weekends and odd hours as needed. It involves prolonged standing, repetitive motions, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling. You may be required to frequently lift up to 30 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs., as well as push/pull carts. Hand dexterity and strength are essential. Overtime is required, including weekends sometimes with little or no advance notice. You must be able to work a flexible schedule and report to work on a regular basis. Shifts available: Monday - Friday, 1st shift: 5:00AM - 2:00PM, 2nd shift: 4:30PM - 1:30AM (with a 10% differential in pay).
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Culpeper, Virginia.
