Facilities Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Working in office buildings in Columbia, this role is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day building operations, including responding to tenant requests, performing repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance of building systems. **Responsibilities** + Perform troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance on all building systems including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and finishes. + Conduct basic preventative building and grounds maintenance. + Coordinate and monitor access for subcontractors performing maintenance or repair work. + Perform light plumbing repairs, such as shutting off water in certain areas of the building to work on sinks and toilets. + Change door knobs, lighting fixtures, and lighting ballasts. + Maintain all tools, parts, and supplies in an organized manner. + Inform the Chief Building Technician of any needs for replacement, restocking, or repair of items. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial building maintenance. + Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and troubleshooting. + Experience with high-rise building maintenance. + Strong preventative maintenance skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Stationary Engineer certification preferred. + Strong HVAC skills preferred over plumbing and electrical. + Commercial experience is a must. **Why Work Here?** We offer an 8% yearly bonus, stock options with dividends paid annually, and opportunities for overtime.
