Job Description
We are looking for a maintenance technician who will be responsible for electrical and plumbing repairs, appliance installation, painting, drywall repair, and patching, as well as light carpentry. They will be tasked with fixing up customer units before a new one is leased out. This role includes replacing lightbulbs, locks, and other appliances; patching holes in walls and painting. Additionally, technicians will handle janitorial duties such as taking out garbage and general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will have 6+ month(s) of experience within construction or building maintenance, primarily within painting/carpentry.

Additional opportunities for up to $2,750 annually accrued through bonuses by hitting quotas of apartments turned over. Company vehicle provided for use during working hours (not for personal use). Guaranteed two hours of overtime pay if responding to an on-call emergency, even if the task is completed in a few minutes. Company uniform provided along with a weekly laundry service. Service technicians receive training from HVCC to become certified in electrical, HVAC, and other skilled trades.
Work Environment
This position is located in Latham, NY at one job site. The work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You will be part of a team of 3+ other technicians, who will rotate on-call responsibilities, around one week per month.
