**Job Title:** 1st Facilities Technician **Shift:** 1st shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, (Monday - Friday; Saturday 6:00 AM - 11:30 AM) **Pay Rate:** $23 - $26 per hour (eligible for 10-15 hours OT and bonus program) **Location:** Glendale, CA **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated 1st Facilities Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks, including: + Inspecting buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions, making notes and recommendations using a pre-established check sheet. + Performing minor electrical maintenance, such as replacing or repairing fixtures (e.g., wall switches, outlets, light bulbs, ballasts, sockets, fuses) using appropriate hand and power tools. + Conducting minor plumbing maintenance. + Performing minor painting and carpentry tasks. + Assisting in building different racks using hand tools. + Cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, parking lots, and other work areas. + Performing other work-related duties as assigned. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + 3+ years of facilities maintenance experience. + Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools. + Mechanically inclined individuals needed for building various items. + Detail-oriented with good communication skills. + Must have a clean driving record. **Work Environment:** + Join a team of over 1500 employees. + Work at a site that manufactures aerospace connectors, backshells, and cable assemblies. + The property covers a large part of Glendale, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $16.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
