Job Description
This individual will be responsible for the general maintenance (Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Drywall, Painting) and orderliness of the property and oversight of the maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction in accordance with department protocol. Homebase and the three buildings being maintenanced are all on the same campus, within a one-block walk. They may possibly travel to the Carmel locations, which are a 15-minute drive from home base. More than likely they will stay on the home base campus.
ResponsibilitiesComplete work orders for tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of the assigned buildings utilizing work order related software programs.Implement routine physical improvements.Assist in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories, and logs.Implement, with the team, a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain all related records and logs.Assist with controlling expenses associated with the operation of the buildings.Communicate effectively to appropriate individuals regarding building status and changes.Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with tenants, hospital clients, co-workers, vendors, patients, etc.Utilize materials, supplies, tools, and other building property in a safe, productive manner.Essential SkillsFacilities maintenancePlumbingElectricalTroubleshootingHVACMechanicalRepairPaintingDrywallLighting3+ years of experience in Facilities Maintenance (Senior Living, Commercial, Industrial Preferred) - Open to Multifamily Apartment buildings.SchematicBuilding maintenanceHand tool usageBlueprint readingCarpentryAdditional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 4:00pmOn call every 6 weeks, including weekends and nightsWork Environment
This position will be customer/tenant-facing in a Senior Living Community. It is very important that individuals keep a customer-first mindset and are patient in this position. Safety will be key for the tenants.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00
